Sony Xperia Z Ultra
Sony continues building the Android portfolio with the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, their take on the ‘phablet’ market. Drawing an obvious comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Mega, the handset with the 6.44 inched TFT screen, and specs to match is making a very attractive argument on how phablets should work.

The Z Ultra really is at the top end of what you can expect from an Android device in late 2013.
The Xperia Z Ultra debuted over the summer, and while it has taken some time to roll out across the regions, it’s now available if you look carefully enough. While it is a smartphone, you’ll be in a better position to find it SIM free and then sort out your carrier afterwards. It’s one of the first Snapdragon 800 devices to be publicly available, and Sony has coupled that new processor with some high-end specifications, albeit with one or two curious omissions.
