Unfortunately Sony had an oversite when designing accessories for the Sony QX10 and QX100 lens cameras. The clip that comes with the QX10 and QX100 isn't wide enough to fit the enormous Sony Xperia Z Ultra's 6.44" screen and therefore Xperia Z Ultras are left having to hold onto both their phone and QX lens camera at the same time.

One crafty Xperia Z Ultra owner, Style68, over at XDA Forums has come up with a clever modification to allow the QX lens to be securely mounted onto the Xperia Z Ultra. Style68 has taken the SPA-ACX2 lens case for the Sony Xperia Z1 and carefully cut off the sides of the case and glued it onto a case for his Xperia Z Ultra. Problem solved!

By carefully using a craft/hobby knife, carefully cut off the sides of the Z1 QX camera case and use some epoxy super glue to securely attach the Z1 plate onto the back of your chosen Xperia Z Ultra case. Make sure you line up the camera hole with that on your Xperia Z Ultra case so you can still continue to use the built-in camera when needed. Make sure you wait for the glue to dry completely before testing it out!
